Day 1 Welcome in Delhi
Welcome on arrival in New Delhi airport. Transfer to Hotel. Later go for sightseeing in Delhi covering Qutub Minar, Humayun's tomb & Lotus Temple. Drive past the Ceremonial Avenue and India Gate, Rashtrapathi Bhawan (official residence of the President of India), Teen Murthi Bhawan (houses the Nehru Memorial museum and from 1948 became the Prime Minister's residence). Also visit Chandni Chowk, Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Gandhi Memorial & Cannaught Place. Rest free for shopping. Dinner & overnight in hotel.
Day 2 Delhi – Agra – Delhi
After breakfast drive to Agra (250 km). Enroute visit Sikandra - The tomb of Akbar the Great - The third
Moghul Emperor. In Agra visit of the Taj Mahal - built by Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. It took 22 years to be built by 20000 workers. This white grandeur is perhaps the most perfect architectural monument in the world. Also visit Agra Fort- on the western bank of Yamuna River; Akbar's magnificent fort dominates the center of the city. The outer walls are 20 m high, faced with red sandstone and topped with pointed merlons, tower above the outer moat. Visit the Jehangir Mahal (woman's quarters), Jodh Bai's Palace, Golden Pavilions (probably ladies bedroom), Khas Mahal, and Diwan-i-Am/Khas. Rest free for shopping. Return to Delhi. Day 3 Delhi – Shimla (350 kms – 8 hrs)
Early morning departure for Shimla, Arrive & transfer to the hotel. Evening free to walk down the Mall, t he main shopping centre of Shimla. At the top end of the Mall is Scandal Point, a large open square with a view of the town - a favorite rendezvous for visitors and the local people. Overlooking it is the elegant Christ Church with its fine stained glass windows. Overnight stay at the hotel .
Day 4 Shimla – Kufri - Shimla
Morning breakfast we take you for an excursion to Kufri a 30 Minutes drive from Shimla. Kufri is surrounded by dense forest and snow caped mountains, Enjoy the scenic beauty of Kufri. In the afternoon enjoy half day sightseeing of Shimla covering Kalbadevi Temple , Jakhu Temple , Dorje Drag Monastery , Christ Church, Viceregal Lodge, Himachal State Museum, the Ridge , Annandale and the Glen. Overnight in Shimla.
Day 5 Shimla - Kulu – Manali (285 kms – 10 hrs)
Morning drive to Manali. On the way towards Manali enjoy the views of Kullu valley, Beas River, M ountaineering Institute & Dashehra Maidan. Arrive Manali and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6 Manali – Rothang Pass – Manali
After Breakfast, Today full day excursion visiting Kothi Gorge, Gulaba, Marhi, Vashist hot water spring, Kothi, Rahala Waterfalls, Rohtang Pass (Upto Snow Line in case Rohtang is closed due to snow fall) and Solang Valley. Return to Manali. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 7 Manali – Chandigarh
After Breakfast, check out of hotel. Enjoy half day sightseeing in Manali covering Hadimba Temple, Manu Temple, Club House, Tibetan monasteries, Nehru Kund. Drive to Chandigarh (290 km). Overnight in Chandigarh.
Day 8 Chandigarh - Delhi (280 km)
